Please note the ISSO walk-in advising hours for spring 2012 semester:
No appointment needed to see an international student advisor:
Mondays & Fridays 10:00am to 12:00pm (noon)
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 1:30 to 4:00pm
Outside of walk-ins students are welcome to pick up and drop off documents or international student request forms.
If you have a new passport, I-94 card, and/or F-1 visa please send a copy to visahelp@uah.edu
Updated copies of all immigration documents are kept in your student file, please emailvisahelp@uah.edu with a copy of new immigration documents if you have renewed them over the break: passport/F-1 visa. Also, each person that left the United States should have receieved a new I-94 card at the Port of Entry. If you do not wish to copy and send them electronically we are happy to make a photocopy from the original immigration documents if you come to our office during walk-ins.
WEEK OF WELCOME
The Office of Student Activities is hosting Week of Welcome 2012, through Saturday, January 14. During the week, many events and activities will occur on campus to help welcome new and returning students to the campus community and introduce them to the people, programs and services available on campus. All F-1 Students are required to report Address Changes
It is imperative to keep an updated address at all times for Immigration reporting and University records. Please ensure a local address (must be physical living address) AND active foreign addresses are correct by checking your Banner record. Also, each student is encouraged to keep an active mailing address. Please complete a change of address form

All F-1 students should be registered FULL TIME and tomorrow (FRIDAY) is the end of the add/drop period. Graduate students should be in 9 credit hours and undergraduate students in 12 credit hours per Federal Regulations. (If you have submitted an RCL you will receive an email soon to confirm)
REMINDER Monday January 16 - UAHuntsville will be closed in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. There are no classes on campus Monday - enjoy the long weekend!
