Listserve Announcements for 02.11.10

IS YOUR I-20 ACCURATE?
As a reminder, the printed I-20 is the document documents important details about your F1 student status. If you I-20 isn’t accurate it could cause problems when applying for F1 benefits, renewing your F1 visa, or during travel. Take a moment to look at your current I-20 and be sure your name, Citizenship and date of birth matches what is written in your passport. Also, your major, degree level, and financial support need to match the academic program you are currently pursuing. If your I-20 is expiration date is before the date you are going to graduate you will need to apply for an extension. Come to see an advisor during walk-in hours or email us if you have any questions.

ISSO WEBSITE
We try to post all important documents to the ISSO website. This way you can access information, handouts and other materials when you need them. This is intended to help you avoid wasting your time coming to the office outside of advising hours and learning an advisor isn’t available.
