IF YOU ARE TRAVELING OUTSIDE OF THE COUNTRY OVER THE WINTER BREAK, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR I-20 SIGNED BY AN ADVISOR!

We will be having our TRAVEL SIGNATURE DAY next Wednesday. If you are traveling, you need to bring your I-20, passport and visa on Wednesday so that we can sign your I-20 for travel. Make sure that you have already registered for Spring 09 classes.
There will be free food and prizes to enjoy.
Classes are canceled that day, so make sure you attend the event. Advisors will also answer any F1 related questions during that time. So come and enjoy even if you do not plan to travel.

When: Wednesday, November 26, 2008; 10:00-12:30
Where: Morton Hall Room 200

*if you cannot attend and still need a signature, you may drop off your I-20 at UC118. Your I-20 will be available to pick up at the travel event or after that date at UC118.

IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY PRESENTATION:
To conclude the Career Series, immigration attorney, Steve Springer, will be on campus TOMORROW, Friday Nov. 21st. Mr. Springer will be presenting on H1 visas, permanent residency and options after OPT. He will also be answering your questions. Please plan to attend this very informative presentation if you are interested in options after OPT. International advisors do not advise on H1 visa issues so this is your chance to obtain information while still in school.

When: Friday, November 21st; 1:30-2:30pm
Where: Shelby Center Room 109

THANKSGIVING HOLIDAYS:
Classes will be canceled November 26th, 27th and 28th for Thanksgiving Holidays. The university will be closed November 27th and 28th.
