FALL BREAK

ISSO will have regular walk-in advising hours Thursday October 7 and Friday October 8. 
Thursday 10am-12 NOON and 1:30-4:00pm & Friday 10am-12 NOON
Please come during walk-ins if you would like to meet an advisor or email requests to visahelp@uah.edu.  Enjoy Fall Break!  

OFF-CAMPUS EMPLOYMENT – ONLY 4 WORKSHOP DATES REMAIN FOR THE FALL SEMESTER! USCIS FEES SCHEDULED TO INCREASE IN NOVEMBER*

If you are graduating fall 2010 or spring 2011 and have NOT attended an off campus employment workshop, sign up today; only 4 workshops dates remain and space is limited! Off campus employment includes internships, Cooperative Education or other paid training that is not on the UAHuntsville campus. Students MUST attend a workshop before an advisor can meet to discuss individual questions.  Email visahelp@uah.edu to reserve your space as participation is limited to 10 students per workshop.

ALL workshops will be held in the UC room 132 (small room on the back hallway of the UC BEHIND the lobby). DO YOU WANT to know your options for off campus employment?

UAH SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

The UAHuntsville Online Scholarship Application is now accepting applications for academic year 2011- 2012.  The direct URL for the application is https://apps.uah.edu/Scholarship/.
The priority date for students to submit a scholarship application is December 1 2010.  If you have questions please contact Joy Moody, Assistant Scholarship Coordinator, at 256-824-6865.

SCHLUMBERGER FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIPS FOR WOMEN FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES: 2011

Faculty for the Future fellowships are awarded to women from developing and emerging economies who are preparing for PhD.
