Announcements for the Week of July 15 to 22 2010

Thank you to all volunteers who signed up to assist with new student orientation in August; we had a very positive response and are busy preparing activities for incoming students who for the Fall 2010 semester.
We appreciate understanding from students as our office will be extremely busy as new arrivals will be transitioning to the U.S. and UAHuntsville.  We request that students drop off necessary requests by Friday July 30.  Please remember that processing times will vary and priority is given to new students during orientation.
Also, walk-in advising hours will be adjusted after Monday August 2:
Tuesday August 3rd (morning walk-ins only)
Wednesday August 4th to Tuesday August 10th **NO WALK-IN ADVISING HOURS**
Please note that Advisors will not be available to meet with students as the office will be facilitating orientation activities but if students must contact us please send an email with specific details of the request, including full name and A#.  We will do our best to regain our regular pace after orientation and sincerely appreciate the patience and flexibility of our students.
We would also like to remind all students to PLEASE submit any Address Changes, Reduced Course Load Requests (after signed by Academic Advisors and Department Chair), and Program Extension requests (after signed by Academic Advisor/ Major Professor)  to our office by Friday July 30 at the latest.
