UAH STUDENT INTERESTED IN JAPANESE LANGUAGE PARTNER
Clayton Pence is a student transferring to UAH this fall and contacted ISSO because he is interested in finding a native Japanese speaker to practice speaking with. He has taken 3 years of Japanese at the University of Alabama where he also regularly interacted with and befriended native Japanese speakers to have informal conversations allowing him to practice and improve his Japanese. He'd like to continue using his Japanese daily not necessarily in a formal classroom setting but through friendships with native speakers. Please contact Clayton directly by email at ctpence@gmail.com with the subject Japanese conversation if you are interested in meeting with him.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We will need to have some volunteers to help welcome new F1 students during the fall orientation period. We will need volunteers on August 5th for the Immigration Processing event and August 7th for the Resource fail. Please consider being a volunteer.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email me your name and email address. I will send you more information later this summer.
